My 2 Cents on Naruto Characters #1: Sakura Haruno
Since I've made it clear over and over, it makes sense to start with the thorn on my side and my major issue in character development: Sakura Haruno. She has got to be one of my least favorite characters of all time. Her lack of consistency is so bad that her fans has to notice otherwise they're horribly deluded. Okay, let's recount her growth, shall we? It won't be long anyway. Sakura Haruno was born and raised by anime-filler characters Mebuki and Kizashi Haruno (seriously, you'd think we meet them earlier, but no we see them for a movie debut that was disappointing - we don't even see the scene where Hinata punches Sasuke! Let me tell you folks something, when a .44 Magnum connects with some mob punk's head, it's never pretty. Think of the guy who hits the watermelons with the mallet, and you pretty much got it. Lots of bits and pieces all over the place. Nasty stuff, too, with the brains and the snot that had been pouring from where his nose had been.
