As an artist and a college student, I am cursed with a low financial standing. Given that I am a pragmatic individual, the long-term is my main focus. Therefore, I will have commissions open, but I also have a shop.
DeviantArt is a great place for recognition, however it is not particularly great in terms of income. In that regard, I have opened a CafePress account and ask my supporters to support me through there as well as commissions. All of my income from the art community will be going toward my education.
